The Riga Latvian Society House (Rīgas Latviešu biedrība nams), located at Merķeļa iela 13, is an ornate historical landmark in the very centre of Riga. Completed in 1909, the building was the first in Riga to be constructed in the neoclassical style. The Latvian Society House also showcases Riga’s famous Art Nouveau style, with decorative images adorning the façade.

The Riga Latvian Society House is situated directly opposite the verdant Vērmane Park, the oldest public garden in Riga, designed in 1814.
