Leonid graduated with honors from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT, Russia), specializing in theoretical physics (plasma) and computer simulation; got a Ph.D. degree in two years after graduation. Joined one of the first ever software localization projects in 1991, co-founded Logrus in 1993 and grew it from a small SLV with 3 employees into an international company with multiple offices around the world and 150+ permanent employees. Continuing research and trying to bring some hard-core, fundamental, objective and unbiased scientific approach and knowledge to the areas traditionally occupied by project managers and linguists.
