Jan is a 36 year industry veteran, working in hardware manufacturing, education and software, the past 16 years at Microsoft Corporation. Co-inventor of the Microsoft Multilingual App Toolkit, Jan focuses deeply on the opportunity at hand to reach across language barriers, in part by providing free tools for developers and localizers. As Microsoft’s representative in the W3C i18n Workgroup, Jan worked with other founding members of the Multilingual Web series of events to plan, promote and present engaging speakers and content.
